I am Divya Prakash Manivannan, a skilled Software Engineer with nearly 3 years of experience in backend development, with specialized skill in Machine Learning and AI research.

As a former Research Scientist at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, I applied my expertise in Machine Learning and Computer Vision to address backdoor detection challenges. Holding a Master's in Computer Engineering from New York University, I gained proficiency in deep learning, natural language processing, and machine learning in cybersecurity.

During my tenure at IBM India Pvt. Ltd., where I worked for almost 3 years, I specialized in Linux-based Database Management Systems, contributing to successful projects.

Research Scientist @ NYU
As a Research Scientist, I worked on security concerns related to backdoor attacks on Machine/Deep Learning Models and coming up with robust defense techniques. I was a part of the Research work which was sub-sequently published in Neurips Workshop 2023.

Graduate Student @ NYU
Pursued and completed my Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from New York University, Tandon School of Engineering, in May 2023.

As a Graduate Student Researcher & Developer, I revitalized the Augmented Library APP, demonstrating a blend of creativity and technical prowess. Additionally, my proposal for a scalable AWS Cloud Hosting solution reflected a forward-thinking approach to system architecture, positioning me as a proactive contributor to data-driven solutions.

Software Engineer
During my tenure at IBM India Pvt. Ltd. for almost 3 years, I worked as a Software Engineer, driving impactful solutions and optimizing performance for AT&T Management. I led the implementation of an automated mailing system, revolutionizing data reporting processes and preventing database outages. My optimization efforts resulted in a significant reduction in execution time, enhancing productivity and efficiency. I also collaborated seamlessly with cross-functional teams, contributing valuable insights and expertise. I also took on leadership responsibilities, guiding team meetings and conducting knowledge transfer sessions, ensuring the successful onboarding and training of new database team members.

Pursued and completed my Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, in May 2018.
